Why you should verify Quick Ride profile?
After you sign up, the next step on the Quick Ride app is to verify your profile. So, why should you verify your profile? Quick Ride is a carpooling community which is built on the foundation of trust and held together with pillars of transparency. A verified profile on Quick Ride emphasises trust and safety. That’s the reason, a verified profile on Quick Ride can easily match with other verified ride giver/taker.
Benefits of verifying Quick Ride profile
Verifying your profile on Quick Ride also comes with its set of advantages. As mentioned above, users always prefer riding with verified individuals, because a ride-giver/taker will be looking forward to travelling with like-minded working professionals. So, if your profile is verified, the chances of matching with a ride giver/taker increases by 60-80 percent.
On verifying your Quick Ride profile, you will get 50 rewards points. You can use the reward points to take rides or can convert it to redeemable fuel points when you share rides with others. Additionally, if you are a ride giver, then you should verify your profile. Because if your profile is verified, the minimum earned fuel points required to redeem is just 100 as compared to the minimum 500 fuel points to redeem if the profile in unverified.
How to verify your profile?
Verifying your profile on Quick Ride is very simple and can be done in a matter of a few minutes. There are two steps of verification on the Quick Ride app:
- Company Domain Email ID Verification
- Government ID Verification
Company Domain Email ID Verification 
The first step in the verification process is to verify your official/company email ID. Click on your profile name > Verify Now.
Once you enter your company email ID, an OTP will be sent to your organisation email ID. Just enter the OTP, and your organisation email ID will be verified. After this process, the Organisation ID Verified symbol will be displayed on your profile. The email ID verification is done to ensure that you belong to a legit professional network.
Government ID Verification
The second and final step of verification is to verify your government ID. After you verify the organisation email ID, the app will display that your government ID verification is pending. Just click on Verify Now to proceed further. On Quick Ride app, you can verify with Aadhaar or Driving License.
If you click on Verify Aadhar, you can verify by Aadhaar Registered Mobile number or scanning Aadhaar QR Code or by scanning the front and back of the Aadhaar card.
If you wish to verify through Driving License, just click on the Driving License button. The next step is to enter your Driving License number and click verify.
After completing all the above verification procedures, your profile is fully verified. A tick mark will be displayed on your profile, which indicates that your profile is fully verified.
Verification Reward
Once you have verified your profile, Quick Ride will credit 50 reward points. Yes, the verification reward applies to both ride giver and ride taker. Once you complete the verification process, go to My Payments > Rewards to check the reward points. You can use the reward points to take rides or can convert it to redeemable fuel points when you share rides with others.
