In most societies, we often appreciate people only after they accomplish something big or we consider a person ‘important’ only if they are a white collar worker. But how often do we appreciate people and show respect to people who are not working in the so-called ‘white collar’ jobs? This article is to show our appreciation to our drivers who are often forgotten. They too play a huge role in running a society.

Well, all the good points of taking a cab is not free. Obviously, we have to pay for the service. They are just doing their job, trying to make a living just like everyone else. And not every driver or passenger is going to be friendly and kind, not everyone has a good day, everyday.

Most of the taxi drivers work for more than 12 hours a day and hardly get time to see their family.

The pandemic has affected a large section of the society, especially the daily wage earners like Taxi Drivers.

During medical emergencies because of Taxi Services many people could get to hospital in time.

Some drivers sleep in the car and wait for trips at midnight as well.

For most, driving a taxi or auto is the only source of income for the entire family.

Taxi Driver is considered as one of the most dangerous jobs.

So, what more reason do we need to just appreciate Taxi drivers and for their services? Every job is important and it all helps us in building a better society.

Quick Ride’s contribution towards Drivers

We have a platform for our Drivers called Zory. What we do differently in Zory is that we take only 9% commission from drivers (the current commission in the market for drivers is 25%-30%). We take only 9% so that we can help drivers earn more and have a higher net take home. So, with every Taxi you take from Quick Ride you are helping a driver earn more.
