Theme for 2022
The theme is the same every year. To spread awareness about pollution and educate people about the effects of Pollution.
India is one of the most polluted countries in the world and it is crucial that we observe this day. The air quality is the worst in India. Delhi suffers from hazardous air every year and it is a concerning issue that needs to be addressed seriously Over 120,000 people die from air pollution in a year. People should be educated well on pollution. And we need to remind ignorant citizens too.
It is not only air pollution that needs to be observed on this day but water, land, radioactive, and noise pollution as well. All the pollution caused by human beings is interlinked and it can bring bigger destruction to the environment if we are ignorant.
To contribute to the environment, we encourage people to carpool for their daily commute. The act may seem small but it can have a huge impact on the environment if we all work together
