Even I meet few neighbors from our apartment whom I hadn’t meet or interacted earlier. This is really a dream come true. Driving car in Bangalore is nothing less than a punishment to oneself. I would never take out my car just for myself everyday to undergo mental torture. When I saw this app, I thought to use it for my bike. However, it didn’t work out and I hardly got a ride taker. When I bought my new car in 2018, I had to run it regularly so thought why not to use Quick Ride. So, I started posting my rides and I started getting ride takers. I made sure I start and reach the pick up location on time . I mate so many new people. I feel really happy that I am helping people to get cheaper rides, cutting down vehicles o n road by number thus cutting down carbon emission too. One of the funny incidence, I would like to share is when I was new to this app, I received to different requests. One was from a guy and another was from a lady. I accepted both the requests. The lady asked me if she can come and join me from the parking slot itself as she was from same building and I told yes. To my surprise, I saw not one but four ladies. Actually she sent me requests for four seats which I didn’t notice. Now I had 5 people with four seats . It was a embarrassment for me I felt but then had a fun factor too. Since these all ladies were lean n thin and friends , I requested them to somehow adjust in the back seat. Also, there destination was closest from the office so they managed. Whenever I think about this situation, it makes me laugh at my self…

Quick rides is truly an economic , mutually beneficial app and serves the purpose for which it was created . The info specifics truly motivate people to bikepool and carpool. I was extremely surprised when i found out that when i had completed a mere 12 rides i had saved 30 kgs of carbon from being released into the armosphere, but also engaged in several wonderful, knowledge filled conversations with some amazing , interesting people . Highly recommend this app to those who are environmentally conscious .
