How Indians celebrate Energy Conservation Day?

The Ministry of Power has decided to declare the 14th of December as National Energy Conservation Day. Government, as well as non-government organisations, arrange various programmes to observe this special day. Painting, recitation, drama, singing contests are organized at schools and colleges on this particular day. The practice of celebrating Energy Conservation Day is not enough. We should consider the process of energy-saving regularly. 

What all are the measures to be taken regularly?

Solar energy is a better alternative to electricity. That’s why the Government of India is encouraging everyone to switch to solar power and live a better life.

Vehicles run by petrol and diesel. So, it’s impossible to live without the usage of fossil fuels. The shortage of crude oil, petroleum and diesel are already there in the world. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Battery-operated two-wheeler/four-wheeler can be used to curb down the usage of fossil fuels. You can switch to eco-friendly vehicles, but in the current state, the technology is still in its infant stage. So, what is the practical solution to this problem?

Switching to carpool and bike pool

The lesser the amount of Carbon emissions, the better we can live. The first thing we need to check is the usage of private vehicles in day-to-day life. Carpool or bike pool is the best way to take the first step towards a less polluted environment. It emits less Co2 as you are going to share your ride with other commuters.
