Save Energy Today. Survive Tomorrow
Energy requirements surge ahead day by day. The pace at which it is increasing is alarming. Imagine, the day when the natural energy resources would destroy just to serve the entire mankind! The entire world is on the verge of extinction. Therefore, we humans need to pay attention to energy conservation, otherwise, the entire civilization will be in danger. We are still helpless in front of mother nature’s wrath so it’s the high time to pay attention to how to save the sources of natural energy.
What does energy conservation stand for?
Energy conservation helps to avoid misuse of natural energies. It will help mankind to save energy for the future. This habit of energy conservation should be practiced religiously. Once we can make it a habit the result will get reflected slowly and gradually.
How Indians celebrate Energy Conservation Day?
The Ministry of Power has decided to declare the 14th of December as National Energy Conservation Day. Government, as well as non-government organisations, arrange various programmes to observe this special day. Painting, recitation, drama, singing contests are organized at schools and colleges on this particular day. The practice of celebrating Energy Conservation Day is not enough. We should consider the process of energy-saving regularly.
What all are the measures to be taken regularly?
Save electricity
Are you one of them who often forget to switch off the lights and fans while leaving? It is high time to be a little careful while stepping out of the house. We are already running out of electricity, so this is time to think about our future generation as well.
Solar energy is a better alternative to electricity. That’s why the Government of India is encouraging everyone to switch to solar power and live a better life.
Lesser availability of fossil fuels and massive air pollution
Vehicles run by petrol and diesel. So, it’s impossible to live without the usage of fossil fuels. The shortage of crude oil, petroleum and diesel are already there in the world. Is there any way to solve this problem?
Two ways are there to keep this issue at bay
Having eco-friendly vehicles
Battery-operated two-wheeler/four-wheeler can be used to curb down the usage of fossil fuels. You can switch to eco-friendly vehicles, but in the current state, the technology is still in its infant stage. So, what is the practical solution to this problem?
Switching to carpool and bike pool
